Der internationale Ruderverband (FISA) teilt mit, dass Jeannine Gmelin, Skiff-Weltmeisterin, für einen „World Rowing Award“ nominiert ist. Das ist eine grosse Anerkennung für die hervorragenden Leistungen von Jeannine Gmelin in der Rudersaison 2017.

Die Vergabe der „World Rowing Awards“ erfolgt an der Gala für die „World Rowing Awards“ in London am Freitag, 8. Dezember 2017.

Finalists for 2017 World Rowing Awards announced

Lausanne, 13 November 2017

Success at this year’s World Rowing Championships in the United States and success throughout the season helped determine the finalists for the 2017 World Rowing Awards.

Public nomination drew over 1000 submissions for this year’s awards. The public nominations then went to the World Rowing Federation’s Council to select the finalists. The finalists demonstrate a wide mix of nations.
